Star Johnson (The Betty & Veronica Plays)

Star Johnson is excited to be working with The Rainbow Theatre Project. Her directing credits include Burning her Name, Lost Letters, A Memory, a Monologue, a Rant and a Prayer, El Hajj Malik: The Life and Times of Malcolm X, Henrietta, Matched (Winner - Best Director and Best Production, Silver Spring Stage One Act Festival). Technical credits include lighting design for Letters to and From Me (Best of Fringe, Capital Fringe Festival), and properties for God of Carnage, (Silver Spring Stage). Star is the founder of DC Women's Theatre Group and the production manager for OpenStage, a theatre 'open mic' showcase she organizes monthly in Eastern Market. She has dabbled in play-writing, presenting her work at Bloombars and DC Arts Center and serves on the play-reading committee for Silver Spring Stage.

Christopher Janson (My Night with Rock Hudson)

Christopher Janson is a founding member of Catalyst Theater Company. He has directed Catalyst's critically acclaimed productions of No Exit, Endgame, and The Altruists. He has also performed at Studio Theatre, The Shakespeare Theatre, Washington Shakespeare Company, Source Theatre, Actor's Theatre of Washington, Olney Theatre's National Players and The Smithsonian Institution. In addition to these acting credits, he has written and produced several plays for The Smithsonian Institution and The Buffalo Bill Historical Center.

Connor Hogan (I'm Just Saying)

Connor J. Hogan is a theatre maker in the Washington, DC metro area, and Co-Artistic Director of HalfMad Theatre. He specializes in classical texts as well as devising ensemble-based theatrical pieces. Recently, he directed As You Like It for HalfMad Theatre, and this winter, he will be Assistant Directing Life Sucks at Theatre J.

David A. Richardson (Swamp Gothic, A Quick Stop at the Florist)

David A. Richardson is a graduating Theatre Arts Senior at University of the District of Columbia. He is excited to work with Rainbow Theatre Project again. Although he has experience as an actor, producer, and stage manager, this will be his directing debut outside of school. His directing experience in school was for Christopher Durang's Beyond Therapy, Tennessee Williams' Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, and Aristophanes' Lysistrata. He looks forward to many more opportunities to work with Rainbow Theatre Project.

Jay D. Brock (How to Separate Your Soul from Your Body…)

Jay D. Brock is a critically acclaimed award winning director of more than thirty productions spanning both coasts. Recent credits include the world premier of the fully orchestrated version of Songs for a New World conducted by composer Jason Robert Brown, the regional premiere of F#@king Up Everything produced by Off the Leash Productions/New Musical Foundation at The Woolly Mammoth Theatre Company, and the regional premiere of Sisters of Swing with NYC's Infinity Theatre Company. Jay has additional directing credits with Folger Theatre, Synetic Theatre, The Los Angeles Theatre Center, The Geffen Playhouse, Theatre J, and Anteus Classical Theatre Ensemble and is currently an associate member of SDC.

John Moletress (Torch: Songs from the Gay Life)

John Moletress is a queer artist who combines disciplines of design, performance and media. He is the Founding Director of force/collision, an interdisciplinary performance lab based in Washington, DC. With force/collision, he has collaborated with such artists as Erik Ehn, Caridad Svich, Falk Richter and Rebollar Dance Theatre. John works both nationally and internationally, having performed work at Kennedy Center, Arena Stage, La MaMa ETC, King's College (UK), Homotopia! (UK), Manchester University (UK), among others. His current touring work, Jarman, all this maddening beauty, is a solo performance, mixed-media excursion into the life and work of icon Derek Jarman. Currently, he holds a BA from Muhlenberg College, MFA from George Washington University and is the Visiting Lecturer in the Theatre Arts department at McDaniel College. John dedicates this bio to all those queers among us, making work and giving us work.

Elizabeth Pringle (The Oldest Profession)

Elizabeth Pringle is a playwright, director, actor, and arts & media producer/educator. She has written plays, musicals, opera and zarzuela adaptations, operettas, articles, poems, websites, grants, a film. Two her short plays are part of Theatre Lab's recently published Plays of the Dramathon. As an arts and media educator, she has taught emerging playwrights and actors in DC (Theatre Lab, Kennedy Center, Duke Ellington School of the Arts, Young Playwrights) and created The Shortie Awards: International Film Festival for filmmakers ages 7–18.
